The Scary Horse

In Eldermoor, a village surrounded by big forests and mountains, everyone knew about the Scary Horse. This wasn’t a normal horse; it was part of an exciting legend in the village.

The Scary Horse was special because it had a shiny, black coat and eyes that glowed red. The villagers said it appeared only on full moon nights, running near the forest. When the Scary Horse was seen, the villagers believed something important would happen soon. They remembered times when the horse appeared before unusual events, like an old building falling down or a large, ancient tree suddenly disappearing.

Elara, a smart and curious high school student, loved the village stories, especially the one about the Scary Horse. She always wondered if there was a real story behind it.

One clear night in the fall, Elara saw the Scary Horse herself. It stood near the forest, looking both beautiful and mysterious. At first, Elara was a bit scared, but she bravely walked closer. She then saw that the horse's eyes were actually kind and calm. Elara realized that the Scary Horse wasn’t something to be afraid of. It was a sign of big changes, but these changes were part of life in the village.

Elara felt a special bond with the horse, and then it quietly disappeared into the forest. After that night, Elara started to see things differently. She learned that sometimes things that seem scary can be good, and that changes are a natural part of life.

In Eldermoor, the story of the Scary Horse continued to be popular. But for Elara, it meant something more. It became a symbol of learning and growing, and understanding that change is important.
